Mumbai Trial

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/13/world/asia/13lahore.html?_r=2&scp=1&sq=Mumbai%20Trial&st=cseTerror suspect Mr.Saeed cleared again in Pakistan for involvement with Mumbai attacks. Its been almost a year since India's 9/11 terrorist attack happened, and action needs to be taken. The court say there’s not enough evidence of Mr.Saeed being involved so they dropped the charges, and yet I don’t understand how that’s possible because it says Mr.Saeed was the founder of a banned militant group in which 10 of whose members killed 163 people in the rampage in Mumbai in November. The court should keep an eye on Mr.Saeed until they find more evidence because he shouldn’t be let of the hook just yet. In the meantime India needs better security to prevent another disaster from happening.

This issue is so important to me because the 2 Americans that died in Mumbai, India at the Oberoi Hotel were my Uncle Alan and cousin Naomi, they were there on a retreat for Synchronicity. This was truly a tragedy for my family and other family’s in India whose family died. I never knew how people felt when things liked this happened until now, and I can’t stand to imagine someone else having to go through this.I only wish that India would’ve had better security and even though people would still die maybe my Uncle and cousin could’ve been saved.

I’m not sure where the Mumbai trial is going from here but whoever was involved better get put to justice and spend a lifetime in jail!
